Nike 6.0 – iDNation
This looks pretty damn cool. Nike 6.0 just launched a new version of their popular product customization service NikeID called The iDNation. On the surface it’s a custom product design tool where you have the opportunity to create some of your own shoes and attract a few fans of your designs along the way.
But dig a little deeper and at the heart of The iDNation is the ‘StyleLab’ which is a community for creative people to get inspired, and share their shoe designs and ideas.
When the StyleLab launches soon, all of the shoes you design will be shared, ranked and voted on by the community at The iDNation. There is also the possibility that your shoes will go into production and can be purchased by people from around the world.

It looks like Nike 6.0 are making massive in-roads in the action sports market with their brand and also the riders they’re attracting such as snaring young gun surfer Julian Wilson from his high profile contract with surfing giant Quiksilver.
